RING OF FIRE

Come heartstoppingly close to the great circle of volcanoes and seismic activity that rings the Pacific Ocean in the MOST’s 45 minute presentation
of the Ring of Fire. Witness the breathtaking sites and stirring sounds of these volcanoes as a team of geologists, anthropologists, computer animators and filmmakers explore the great boundary in the earth’s crust where more than three-fourths of the world’s active volcanoes are located.
Take a front row seat to some of the most spectacular volcanic eruptions ever caught on film, including Mt. St. Helens. See the birth of a new volcano in southern Chile and meet people who live within the shadows of some of the world’s most active volcanoes. In addition to exploring volcanic summits around the world you’ll dive deep into the core of the earth through computer animations to discover the geological forces behind volcanic eruptions and earthquakes. Ring of Fire offers images of raw power that nature contains and takes you closer to the action than you ever imagined possible.
