Our Dens are...
Tiger Cubs are formed by first grade boys who, with their adult parents, learn lessons about building family communications, preparing for emergencies and understanding the environment.  Lessons are topic specific and Tiger Cubs are recognized each time that a lesson or activity is completed. Some Tiger Cub activities include obtaining a library card, visiting the zoo, learning to use private and public phones to report emergencies, and starting a family photo journal.

The boys will need the Orange Tiger shirt, and Orange Tiger hat.  The Blue Cub Scout belt with the Tiger Cub symbol is optional.  We will supply the Tiger Cub book, the World Crest patch and the Tiger Cub totem.

Cub Scouts are second and third graders.  The boys work toward accomplishing achievement and electives outlined in the Cub Scout manuals and are rewarded with emblems for their work.  Cub Scouts learn about proper nutrition, safety, community involvement and making informed choices. Activities include planning and cooking a family meal, starting a recycling program, increasing strength and agility through exercise and camping with the family.

The boys will need a Cub Scout hat, Blue Cub ScoutsShirt and appropriate patches (the number 48, the Baden-Powell shoulder patch) a Cub Scout neckerchief slide and the blue Cub Scout belt/buckle.  Cub Scout uniform pants are optional.  We will provide the Wolf or Bear Book, Wolf or Bear neckerchief, the World Crest patch.

Webelos Scouts are fourth and fifth grade boys.  They pursue activity badges for achievements in academic skills, the outdoors, technology, sports and community involvement.  Geared to older boys, Webelos  activities include using computers, learning citizens’ role in the nation, studying animals and insects, swimming and properly caring for the flag.

The boys will need the Blue Cub Scout shirt or the Tan Boy Scout shirt with blue shoulder loops, Webelos neckerchief slide, the Webelos cap and the Blue Cub Scout belt with the Webelos belt buckle and the appropriate patches (the number 48, the Baden-Powell shoulder patch).  We will supply the Webelos book, the Webelos neckerchief and the World Crest patch.
